Our stay at the Compass Rose Lodge was truly exceptional. The value for our money was outstanding, with spacious and comfortable bunk rooms that easily accommodated our family of 5. The hotel's location in the quaint Pioneer town, right across from a park and near historical sites, provided a unique and beautiful setting. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again.
For breakfast, it would have been nice to have a variety of yogurt options available, not just Greek yogurt.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the eco-friendly refillable soap and shampoo containers are a great touch. One of my favorite experiences during my stay was the mini observatory, where I could relax and gaze at the stars. It was a peaceful and magical moment. I would highly recommend Compass Rose Lodge for a memorable and delightful stay.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from a park, BBQ restaurant, and historical sites/buildings, and within walking distance to a reservoir. Our bunk room was perfect for our family of 5, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches and great bath products. The staff provided unparalleled service and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Staying near the beautiful observatory and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was a highlight of my business trip. I also appreciated the small-town atmosphere and the opportunity to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The modern decor of the rooms was also a really nice touch.
The breakfast spread wasn't great and there weren't many options for meals. Additionally, some items at the breakfast buffet weren't stored properly, which is a bit concerning.

During our weekend getaway, we stumbled upon a hidden gem. the hotel had contemporary room décor, complete with eco-friendly shower amenities, and a serene mini observatory perfect for stargazing. the location was also ideal for peaceful relaxation away from the city. Our stay was elevated by the unparalleled service and unique features that the hotel had to offer. the breakfast spread was diverse and scrumptious with many options to choose from, including the rich Greek yogurt and local specialties.
The limited dining options around the hotel.

Spending Easter at this hotel was a good idea. the room prices were affordable, and the environment was quiet, perfect for a getaway. the mini observatory was a unique feature, and I enjoyed looking at the stars at night. They also had refillable toiletries which helped our effort to reduce our waste. the location was great as it was close to the city center and had a beautiful view of the mountains.
There weren't many food options available nearby, and the breakfast at the hotel was very poor. the food was not fresh, and some items were not properly stored.
